The 2012 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship coin set commemorates the World Hockey Championships held in Finland from May 4 to 20, 2012 and contains all of the Finnish metal circulation coins for 2012 in matt, that is BU quality. The packaging ensures that the coins will retain their original lustre and the official mascot of the games can be found adventuring on the coin set folder.
The 2012 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships is the 76th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams representing 46 countries participate in four levels of competition. Finland and Sweden host the event with games being played in Helsinki and Stockholm.
