Details Malta revelead on 1 March 2016 the five finalist designs for the first coin in the commemorative series "Love" that begins this year, under the name "Children and Solidarity". In April the country revealed the chosen design which belongs to the high school student Sarah Cilia.

It shows two hands together forming a heart, the center of which depicts the flag of Malta. To the left is a picture of Sarah Cilia being recognized as the winner of the design competition, at the time he received some gifts. Cilia said he considers love as the basis of all values, including respect and dignity. He also sent a message to the adults who recalled that should be careful how they are influencing their children, for adults messages to determine their future children.
