Selected title: Coin drop
Explanation: It is the term used to describe a publicity stunt where a valuable coin is deliberately dropped (placed) into circulation. This usually is done specifically to promote a coin show in the community. The American Numismatic Association has been doing coin drops for about a decade. A few collectors complain about 'wasting' good coins, but when properly conducted, a coin drop is a cost-effective way to promote a numismatic event
